The Best Scholarships in Indiana

​Figuring out how to afford to pay for college can be a daunting task. Fortunately, Indiana residents have over 30 scholarships and financial aid opportunities. These college scholarships range from $250 to full-ride scholarships to Indiana state schools, Indiana Tech, Indiana State University, and Central Indiana University.Applying for college scholarships and financial aid is crucial to eliminate or at least minimize post-graduation debt. Indiana students are also able to renew some scholarships. There are even some scholarships that are guaranteed depending on the Indiana resident's major.Listed below are scholarships available to Indiana residents and out-of-state students who intend to start going to school in Indiana 2016-2017.​ 1.AQHA Indiana Quarter Horse Youth Scholarship This scholarship is for $1,000, and there are a limited number of awards available. It is not renewable or available to international or online-only students. It is available to out-of-state students. The submission deadline is December 1, 2017. Candidates must have a GPA of at least 2.5 in order to be considered. It is renewable up to 3 years. It is open to out-of-state students but not international or online-only students. The submission deadline is February 1, 2016. Candidates must have at least a 2.5 GPA and either a 920 SAT score or 19 ACT score. It is not renewable. It is open to out-of-state students but not international or online-only students. The submission deadline is March 25, 2017.
